We were just passing through on our way to Colorado so we didn’t stay the night, but filled our fresh water tank and dumped our black water tank. Would definitely recommend a night of camping though! The facility was clean, quiet and safe. Oh and there is a cute coffee/antique shop across the way!

Very nice clean, friendly historic Community. It has four level sites with full hooks plenty of room for big rigs to turn around.
Make sure you stop in historic bank for coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls.

We loved the peace and quiet. This was the quietest place we've ever stayed. There are no lights at night, which adds to the sense of peace. It would, however, make it very tricky to try to set up after dark. Even during the day, you have to get out and walk around a bit to get the sense of how the spots are laid out. Our site was level right off the bat. There's a self pay station, making check-in very easy and contact-free...something to be desired in these times of the pandemic, I guess. You pay in cash or check...no credit cards.
We had reservations, but they don't seem necessary and I don't see how they'd be enforceable, anyway.
This was a fantastic spot for an overnight stay on the road.

If we weren't racing west ahead of an early winter storm we would have stayed another day. We arrived after dark and it was a bit tricky to find. There's a small plaque on the road that indicates you drive down the dirt road to a mowed grass field, but it was hard to see until we got out with a flashlight.
Setup in the dark was a bit tricky to figure out the configuration of the 4 sites, but there was only 1 other camper and they were tent camping so we didn't need to be perfect.
The only small con here was that we saw a couple black widows. One was hanging out in the power pedestal and gave us a bit of a jump when we opened to plug in our power. We sprayed some bug spray around the RV and didn't see any bugs in the RV.
The grain elevator was humming all night but not really that noisy. More of a nice steady white noise.
Our boys loved playing soccer in the field in the morning as the fog lifted.
Payment is easy. Just put cash in an envelope on a stand near the RV sites and slip it into the payment box.

We needed a 1 night stop-over on our way to Colorado from Nebraska and had spotted a sign advertising an RV park when passing by a few weeks earlier.
This tiny town has an amazing history which includes a museum and a beautifully restored 1879 Kansas Pacific Railroad Section House (which is available to rent for only $50 a night!) The tiny 4 space full hook-up campground, which was built in 2017, is right next door to the Section House. Except for an occasional train, very peaceful. Sites are grass, level and a dumpster is available for trash. Self pay station or pay at the museum.
Unfortunately we did not have time to go through the museum but the old bank building downtown, and only a block from the campground, is a great coffee/antique shop with outstanding cinnamon rolls and very friendly owners and staff! Don't leave town without paying them a visit!
Plaques throughout the small town describe the town's history and I believe if you visit the museum there would be a "walking tour" map to use as a guide.
