Fleming Meadow Campground

Made reservations before the shelter in place. It looked like a dozen or so campers were living there. It was quiet and beautiful. Some of the back in sites are a little difficult to maneuver into with our 40’ toy hauler but we made it. Most of the pull throughs were taken when I made the reservations. Didn’t use the bathrooms or showers but the place was clean. This is the second time we’ve camped here and have enjoyed it each time. Will definitely return.

If arriving without reservations and after gate is closed, reference available slot list at self-registration area. We arrived at 8 pm and place was shutdown for the night. Quiet area, little shade but perfect for springtime weather. Bathrooms are well kept, showers nice and hot. Marina store/grill short distance away, reasonably priced. Friendly staff!

This was a great campsite! It was very well maintained and well priced for how nice the facility is. We were a little concerned at first when we showed up at around 730pm and there were no other campers in the dry campsite side of the park. We then travellled over to the hookup side and saw several campers and a few tents. Would definitely stay again. Did not have any cell service for sprint.

Unfortunately, we couldn't stay the night at Fleming Meadow Campground because we had dogs. We did park and have a look around though and this would have been a five star campground should we have been able to stay. (If you are in the same position we were in today, head to Horseshoe Bend Recreation Park 20mins down the road for some dry camping at $22 or full hookups with an unbelievable view at $28 a night and they allow dogs)!!

Fleming Meadow Campground has dry camping for $20 with a separate dump station, water and water spigots and a loop with full-hookups for $31 a night to the right of the entrance.

We headed straight for the dry loop A which was fantastic. Noone was there and every site basically looked over the water. Sites were clean, many were level. Toilets and showers, however, we only felt the hot water get to a warm temperature.

Full hookup sites are popular and were basically booked out.

There appeared to be no one else camping the night that we stayed. We had our pick of sites so we had a site with an unobstructed lakeview. And it was quiet.

Showers were hot, free and unmetered, all the water you would like. There was a sani dump and water refill. Water spigot available near the site.

The road we took coming Yosemite was very windy and steep in places. Might have been a challenge for a large rig but ok with our campervan.
