Barrett Cove Recreation Area

We loved our stay here. The only thing is beware when you select your site! We selected a site that said it was 60 feet long but we could not get our 44 foot trailer in there due to the large slope into the site. It also would not have been possible to level on that site. It really would fit a much smaller trailer. Several sites have this same issue. I'd suggest calling ahead to ask about which you can actually fit in if you have a larger trailer.

That being said, the staff here is the best! They warned us when we got there we may not be able to get in and escorted us around the park trying to first get us in the site, and then when it was a lost cause they drove around the park to find us an open site we could fit in with full hookups.

The park is beautiful. A lot of hills, large sites, the lake and the mountain biking nearby.

Verizon internet was not great, tmobile home interenet did not work at all. Plenty of open sky for starlink though.

This is our third time at this campground. Our son loves mountain biking and this is a terrific place. Exchequer bike park is right here. There are soooo many campsites, tent and full hookups. Older restrooms but cleaned daily. Free showers. We like sites 4 and 5 that have full hookups. There are so many other great ones. In the past we’ve rented a party boat with another family. Keep in mind it can get very very hot here in the summer. Very friendly camp staff. We’re definitely coming back soon.

Good experience at the RV camp site with electrical and water hookup. Convenient location, close by cafe (which was closed on Memorial Day), lake view, clean, exclusive campsite, and finally on-site dumping area.
The public washrooms are not well maintained.
Local WiFi available but poor signal strength.
