El Dorado Fairgrounds

This was a great stop over as we were passing through. A quiet and small RV park with first come, first serve spaces when you arrive. It is gated. Water and Electricity with a dump station. Spacious enough for us. Easy to get in and out and pretty level. No wifi but AT&T worked fine.

We arrived at the fairgrounds as one of our very few options to be in this area for the time period we needed to be there. From everything we had heard, we would basically be in a dirt parking lot style setup with water and power with a dump station nearby if we needed to empty tanks. The price was a bit high for what you would get but we had to be in the area for specific dates. When we arrived there was evidently a tractor pull event in the upper raceway and no room for us in the normal sites. We were directed to a small "site" tucked in the main fairgrounds area in a garden called Scotty's Garden. We were happy to be tucked in there and to our surprise, there was power and water in the garden for us. I think we were fortunate to have a different than normal stay here.
