We knew what we were getting into booking this campground for the most part. This spot is really not appropriate for anyone other than those using the dunes with lots and lots of power toys. We rented a OHV from a place down the road for a morning and had a great time. But our teardrop camper was extremely out of place amongst the huuuuuuuge toy hauler mansions. Felt very out of place. Sites are RV park style right next to each other with no outdoor privacy if you dont have the house to retreat to. Pit toilet was fine. For the purpose it serves, it's pretty good. But don't go here if you aren't expecting that.

2 bars on Tmobile. No 5g, 4g was 25 down and 5 up on my hotspot with no booster or anything.
Very unlevel (over 4" left to right) dirt pads. But they each come with a table and gazebo and fire pit. Dump station and water fill on site. Electric only, so fill water before parking. Roughly half the spots are able to reserve in the more expensive group areas. The dozen individual C spots are first come with the exception of the handicap spot (asphalt pad and wide for accessibility).
You will have tons of ATV's and bikes driving through the grounds all day long. Once it got dark they stopped. Noise level wasn't too bad, 5mph speed limit in camp and didn't see anyone that was too far outside that. But will deal with alot of dorks revving engines etc.
BLM and local police have an office in the campground. BLM was staffed during the week.
Small shop on premises with motorsports stuff and a few groceries but Walmart is 15 mins away.
KnM would stay here again

This campsite is great if you want to hit the Sand dune’s in your ORV. There are not any good spots for tents. The water is good enough to swim. It’s very windy and lots of bees but these are typical camping conditions.
Address is E 500 N, St Anthony, ID 83445
No highway noise but you can hear the ATVs in the dunes.

If you want peace and quite this is not a place for you. If you enjoy off roading and don't mind noise you will love it here. We had a great time riding our ATV around and kayaking in the lakes. It was all but empty when we stayed here, but it probable gets busy on holidays. There is a little store on site with ice, souvenirs and parts.
This is an improved BLM Campground and the sites have electricity. They are also very large site because people tow their toys in. There's a dump station on site and water stickers in various places. It was $30 a night to stay here, but drops down to $15 with a national parks pass.
If you have a jeep and want to go play this would be a great place, just be careful in the dunes.
