This campground is well run (the owners were super kind and helpful), well maintained (clean, new gravel, landscaped nicely), close to town and right next to the river. This campground has everything you want for an overnight stop while traveling the ALCAN—pull through sites, easy self registration, well priced ($20 Canadian), nicely spaced sites (a few big enough for big rigs) and free firewood. We pulled in about 7pm and had no trouble finding a spot.
A fine place to stay for a night if you want some time to enjoy Eclipse Nordic Spa (which is awesome and totally worth a visit). The campground is a little rustic and isn’t maintained super well. The staff was nice and helpful—Check in was easy. The site was overpriced for what is was but hey what you’re really paying for is to be walking...
