Strong 2 star Verizon. Lots of space and usually trees and bushes between. Every site has lake fishing access. Can be dusty I high winds.

Arrived on a Tuesday evening in October and had no problem getting a site. Easy access and beautiful. Vault toilets on site

We only stayed one night, but wish we had more time on this trip. The sites, right on the lake, are amazing and accommodated our 34' 5'r easily. I had space left over and could have invited a friend to share the site.

Passing through on a long journey from Albuquerque to the Catskills, this was an ideal overnight park n’ sleep. Woke up surrounded by Canadian geese, who did not hurt me. Peaceful sounds. Bookmarking this one!

This is a well kept state fishing lake. The lake is surrounded by Prarie and all the camp and picnic sites have shade trees. Camping is free!

We stayed here in our DIY camper van. It was a weeknight, and I think we were the only ones there. No real facilities, camping spots next to the lake. Rocky and not entirely level, but workable. Happy enough for a free overnight stay.

There are about 3 or 4 sites suitable for an RV. We were at the one at the end which was great if you have a larger RV (it was the largest and level). All are pull throughs for the most part. kansas fishing lakes are a priceless gift. this one is no exception. very clean scenic and has nice benches. quiet and serene. as a bonus the little town in cottonwood falls is lovely.

We got in late as we were just passing through and needed a place to park for the night. The spots near the bathrooms seemed taken, but we found a spot further along in a circle near the water. There was a fire ring. No level ground as it all slopes slightly toward the lake. Lots of mosquitos, but a pretty view when we woke up.
