Plenty of Lodgepole Pines between sites. Our site was level. Some sites close to the highway. Not too much traffic late at night about 5 miles to the West entrance.

The campground itself was adequate, partly shaded with spots that were decent size, though I would not say large. The bathroom was clean and the camphost was helpful in getting help for me when my electrical post did not appear to be functional.
However, there were more mosquitos than I have ever seen! At 6 pm, they spray/fog the campground...

We stayed here one night on a cross country trip based on reviews of the park by others. The sites were adequate sized, but there was no shade and it got very hot in the afternoon.
