Box Car Hill Campground

The staff trolls sites non-stop to cause issues with the guests instead of keeping the camp clean. Most sites are partial hookup so you will not have sewer in most cases. They charge $10 to dump. No over flow parking so make sure you can fit all of your stuff in your RV spot. Wi-Fi was spotty, showers were cold and the staff were mean and snotty. Very windy without trees to shelter. Our RV door almost ripped off. Dust box is what they should call this place. Gates close at 11pm to the dunes so don’t get stuck out there. Check out is no later than 11am or they will harass you and make you pay for another night.

we had not finished un packing from arrival and the rudest person i have ever met (Manager) chased us down after telling our friends to find us NOW. they wanted their $10.00 extra car fee. we were leaving the truck and trailer somewhere else but the RUDE NEW MANAGER started to argue and treat us like ______. tried to talk to him but he would not listen and had to prove he was the NEW guy in town. He even trashed Steve at the KOA saying how horrible steve is and how much better he was... could not get him to stop arguing with me. so i walked off. wosrse camp host ever. treated all three of our friends the same wy. hard to believe they keep him he must be related.
