This is mainly an ATV park that offers direct dune access. Bathroom showers are token operated. Most of the sites are grouped together and may not have their own tables.

Hikes we did included Tahkenich loop TR and Sunset Beach to any distance you chose.
Don’t miss the best sweet shop along this coast called the Sugar Shack in Reedsport. If you are into Mushrooms stop at Hannah and Perry in Coos bay. $12 for a pound of Chanterelles. Open 4-8pm.
Kayaking and Paddleboarding at Eel Lake,Tugman state park but no charge. Also nice hike there with many picnic tables. Dock to fish from and boat launch.
Our site was great as it wasn’t at the end where the sand had built up. Also we had a picnic stand lathe area where you could put up a tent. Many sites don’t have those amenities.

Nice location. Wouldn't want to stay there at high season. Very nice camp host said they can have 250 folks there in the summer. It's an OHV area. Parking on asphalt. No electric and water is by tap but no fill station. Sites are very close together. Grass and trees around the edge. $10.00 is USFS Senior access rate.
