Amazing gem tucked away up HWY 168. And not far from bishop proper.

This is a first come first serve campground w/ only 16 designated spots. Half the spots are dotted along bishop creek nestled between big Jeffery pines, (you can hear the creek roar all day and nite) the other half are peppered amongst the sage brush.

We had zero issues navigating our 36’ 5th wheel around the camp. Access road is paved and a tad narrow, but not terrible.

The sites are spacious and clean. Bear locker, fire pit and table included. There are two sets of flush toilets that are kept very very clean.

Note: they have fresh water with a threaded spigot to fill your tanks. I made the mistake of hauling 100ga of water up the grade (not fun or necessary)

Generator hrs are between 6am & 10pm. a tad early and late for me, but all campers were kind and respectful.

My only gripe about this place is the host. I think he’s an ex Vietnam Vet who treats both the camp and it’s paying customers like a bivouac. Heaven forbid you don’t post your camp receipt properly or accidentally drive the wrong direction. If he could make you do push-ups, he would. Sadly, he is NOT a happy camper.
