“No cellular, but nice!”

Arrived on 7-18, site 7 at 1:30 on a Tuesday and found only one other camper. By evening it had almost filled.
No cell service at campground, SOS only. Though if you drive 2 minutes (1.1 miles) back towards 15 (near the private land/home) you’ll have 1-2 bars with Verizon. The road is gravel and not rutted. Narrow in some places for passing, but otherwise really well maintained.
Nice wide space for a back-in up to 40’ and place to park towed vehicle on the tent pad. Site is beautiful with lots of greenery and boulders, some shade. Was a bit buggy here mid-July, but not much biting. 20 minute drive into Butte in our jeep.
Trailhead just before CG, but we didn’t hike because we only stayed one night.
