Are the campsites at Atkinson Park Campground too small for a 35-foot motorhome and toad? Are Generators allowed?

There was one spot of our 35’ trailer and it was fairly easy to get into. We enjoyed listening to the kids and their parents playing in the park. I took my dog for a short walk to stretch our legs and everyone was very friendly in town that we passed by.
The story behind the park was very heartwarming and they have a donation box for you to leave a token of thanks for the stay to assist with the upkeep of the park.

“Extremely Noisy. ”

Right NEXT to the interstate. Clean old park with a bathroom but you should be pitching a tent on the driveway or you might get wet from sprinklers during the night. If you are in an RV it would be an OK place for the night but still noisy.

We had a really great experience at this small town park/campground. We were on our way to our campsite closer to Glacier National Park, but we were looking to stop for the night and leave the next day. We were able to easily pull off the highway and navigate into this park/RV sites. We do have a large 44ft fifth wheel and we were able to get around easily and did find a spot to fit (#6).
Our kids (3) and our dog loved that there was a playground and a skate park close to the RV. We were able to unhitch so I could go into Great Falls (25 mins north) to get some groceries/gas before heading towards our next campground (closer to Glacier National Park), which was a little more removed from grocery stores. Since we were here for only one night/part of a Saturday we didn’t capture the internet speeds. Typically my husband needs reasonable internet speeds (he is a graphic designer), but we can report our Verizon, AT&T and T mobile (phones/hot spots) were all able to support us using our phones/tablets/TV to search the internet or use Netflix/Prime with no issues.
We felt very safe in this park. We felt it was very quiet for us. We didn’t really hear any road noise (directly off the highway), but I can say neither myself nor my husband have ever been affected by that type of noise.

Near neighborhood

If I were here earlier I would of left and found someplace different. One bathroom open, rundown… I’d rather have a nice pit toilet. Pool is closed, I’m assuming the showers were in the pool house but looks like it’s been closed a good while. One other RV in the park that’s up on blocks and looks like it’s just being stored here. ... more

I’d be more inclined to stop at a roadside rest stop than here again or a dirt road pullout.
Glad I have the dog with me and my sidearm…. Place is kinda creepy. But landscaping is kept up.

Oh my god. Seriously quaint? No. This is a grassy spot backed up to a major highway. In a city park. Run boondockers! Honestly spotty to no cell service, and let’s just say we both heard every noise. Nope!

A free dump station is also provided! The site is located next to the highway but the noise wasn’t really a problem.

This park is cute as can be with a merry-go-round, shade trees, playground, basketball court, beautiful grass, tennis court. I LOVED may stay here, laying out my quilt in the grass every day. While you’re in town, make sure to grab breakfast at the Homestead with a sticky-bun to go :-)

There are only 5 spots here, no hookups, and nothing is terribly level. But again, FREE and good for a night!

Pulled in late afternoon on the Monday after Fathers Day. Had the place to ourselves except for the kids playing in the playground. Site #6 is the only pull-through site. Plenty big enough for 40’ rig, tow vehicle and extra car. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
