I came off season — felt run down — definitely better and off the road than the other fish “campsites” which are more pull off the road into a parking lot kind. The area in the morning was flooded with fisherman!!! As to be expected lol! If you are passing through the area and need a space to be, I recommend the Log Gulch Campground — ... more
I came off season — felt run down — definitely better and off the road than the other fish “campsites” which are more pull off the road into a parking lot kind. The area in the morning was flooded with fisherman!!! As to be expected lol! If you are passing through the area and need a space to be, I recommend the Log Gulch Campground — even if you are coming off season, the actual campground may be closed but there are 2 other spots that are open and free to set up in. ++++ these spots are right by the lake! Such beautiful views
So would not recommend this spot — except the mountains were very beautiful.

We did not camp here; we stayed across the street and checked this site out a few times. This fishing access point has 8 sites and primitive facilities. Verizon service 4G/LTE 2 bars.

Overall Rating
This place is super busy, lots of traffic in and out. Fills up fast. We have the best times camping here. It is our go to spot! We like to camp there and float the river, it is the best place to get out after a long day of floating and you can go right to your camping spot.
