Clean, friendly staff, easy access from the freeway. Quiet, concrete pad, FHU, some of the site is a little inclined but if you have leveler it’s okay. Close to downtown Asheville.

Pros: close to asheville. Friendly staff. Won’t break the bank for being 5mins drive from the city, although hardly cheap.
Meh: bathhouse is a bit older. You’ll hear highway noise.
Cons: I woke up at 1am once to someone arriving in the spot next to me. Wtf? Advertises Wi-Fi but it is unusably slow.

The entrance to the park is way down the road from the sign and a bit of a steap hill to get up to the office to checkin.
We had a 2nd car that could be parked by the office, no additional charge

We stayed 2 nights on our way to Maine, to visit the Biltmore Estate. As some have reported if you have a large rig the road and entrance could be hard to maneuver. In our 24 ft motorhome, with only bikes behind, we had no problems. The park is small, but some sites have great views. The location isn’t bad, you can actually see the Biltmore if you walk to the exit and look right which was pretty cool. Sites are paved and mostly level. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the pool was being used, it looked clean as well. Again, larger rigs be aware that there isn’t a lot of room here, there were several bigger 5th wheels, so it’s possible, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re not comfortable squeezing in a tights spot while on a hill.
While here we Uber’d downtown for $11 and Uber’d to the Biltmore for $11. Once we got to the Biltmore main ticketing office, we bought a pass for the Biltmore Express Shuttle which took us everywhere within the Estate. Biking around Asheville would have been impossible. The location of this Rv park was very good location for the things that we wished to do.

Pros: A convenient RV Park for those wanting to tour the Biltmore Estate. Pull through sites with full hookup to include cable TV. They offer a military discount for veterans. The park was clean and the staff responsive.
Cons: Because the park is located between I-40 & I-240 there is considerable traffic noise. There is a tight curve on the approach road that may be challenging for big rigs. They have two wifi routers, neither of which are password protected. However one router was not connected to the internet and the other was overwhelmed with use likely to include use by anyone in range of the signal. Ultimately attempts to utilize the wifi were fruitless.

I looked at some of the google reviews and was nervous about staying here. It was not my first choice. This campground was surprisingly nice. They did do some things old school. Had to call for reservations and they would not provide me with email confirmation which made me nervous. Everything turned out fine. A very clean campground. The staff was friendly. Easy on off interstate which some complained about noise but I did not hear any during the night. Sites were paved and fairly leveled and I felt you were not right on top of your neighbors. The convenience to downtown and Biltmore was amazing 10 min drive. $12 dollar Uber ride. The only negative I can say which was not a big deal for me was water spigot was low to ground which could prove difficult hookup for some. Given price and ease of access to local atractions. I would definitely stay again. WiFi was pretty good too.

The sites are all concrete and semi level. When you check in you go to window, which is not a big deal, the road is paved so it makes getting to your site easier. The site we stayed at way large enough for me to either keep the 5er hooked up or un-hook.

We stayed here one night on way to Carolina coast, but considered staying more since this campground is so close to downtown Asheville for restaurants, Biltmore Estate, and Blue Ridge Parkway. The campground is easy to get to off I-40. As with many campgrounds in western NC, there are lots of trees so if using a satellite, you will probably not get a signal. The staff was very friendly & accommodating in finding us site 2 which did not have tree blockage. There was plenty of space between RVs with grass & picnic table. Everything was very clean including the pool. Uber picked us to take to restaurants and other city sites. I’m not sure of previous years, but our stay here in June 2021 was a grade A.

The park was in a great location and had a pretty view but thought of it as just a place to sleep. The internet did not work the entire stay but other than that quiet and perfect spot for exploring asheville.
