“Does Not Allow Overnight Parking ”
Reviewed 10/13/2023
Called to ask and the manager said no overnight parking is allowed. Cops also sit in this lot all the time now, watching for who knows what. Go to the cracker barrel down the road

The review before me wasn’t good, but I guess a lot can change in two and a half years. This place is great for an overnight. The parking lot is well lit, and there appears to be employees occasionally in and out of the store through the night.
I had generator issues and was up most of the night making repairs. From midnight to 5am, I didn’t see anything suspicious at all.
I was the only travel trailer in the lot, but there were probably a dozen other campers in Class B camper vans parked on the backside of the lot.
I didn’t notice any signs saying no overnight parking like mentioned in the previous post, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there.
I have some shopping to do in the morning when they open, and will try to ask mgmt about their overnight parking policies. I’ll try to update with another post later.
Overall, I think it is a great spot.
Nick would stay here again

Used condoms, needles, broken glass bottles, tons of garbage everywhere, vans and cars along the back of the parking lot with people sleeping for an hour or two and coming and going. We didn't really feel safe staying at this Walmart. There are signs posted everywhere that overnight parking is not allowed, but we received permission from the store manager as long as we parked in the back of the lot. The preferred spots along the side were already taken by another motorhome and some truckers, so we parked in the furthest spot in the front of the lot underneath some lights.
We heard road noise most of the night from the road above us on the hill. We heard cars passing most of the night in the parking lot. And it seems to be a common place for park and ride in the morning for commuters.
Word of advice, don't stay here. The Dick's parking lot is much smaller but if you're looking for a clean, safe overnight parking lot, we'd suggest going there and asking permission before staying at this Walmart.
We also drove to a couple other Walmarts in the area and they all have "no overnight parking" signs posted but each of the store managers said it was ok as long as we parked far away from the store. The other stores had smaller parking lots, hence the reason we chose this location. But after staying at several Walmarts this past year as full-time RVers, this was definitely our least favorite night.
Cell service was ok except that we parked right at the base of the hill which caused reception to drop a couple bars.
