"Not at these coordinates"

Sign says Odessa Ranch. Next sign says Private Driveway and further up the road it says NOT CAMPGROUND. I still kept going until it was clear I was driving through someone's private property.

"Easy, Quiet, Free"

I parked in the back corner of the dirt lot. There were a couple of semis and one pull-behind that looked like he might be living there. In my corner, no lights shining through my windows. The "resident" waved and politely said "Good Morning" but... Read more

"Quiet, serene, beautiful"

I arrived on Thursday and they were maybe four other sites taken. By Friday morning there were only three of us in the entire campground. I am still here the following Tuesday and I am the only one for miles and miles. There are many options for... Read more

"You can't get there from here..."

"It's a dirt parking lot"

I'm never quite sure what sort of rating to give a dirt parking lot. Compared to most Walmarts, this was heaven. Compared to most BLM land? It worked for a night. It was free, fairly easy, and mostly quiet. Like a previous review said, there were... Read more

"A little trash, but tons of open space"

When I arrived, the main gates were closed and locked with signs saying closure due to extreme fire danger. But just to the right (at the main gate) was a road that opened up to dozens of roads throughout a wide expanse of land. Very easy to get... Read more
