“super busy, not really meant for RVs”

This truck stop is incredibly busy. Massive amount of semi trucks parked there. They have a huge dirt lot and it’s free, which is great.
But, there is hardly any room to park and the open spots we did see were very unlevel.

This is a BUSY truck stop!! And lots of trucks are running their refrigerators all night long. It is free parking and convenient off the freeway but if you’re a light sleeper or the sound of generators all night long would bother you then keep going. Would not stay here again.

This was our first time overnighting at a truck stop. We’d generally avoided it in the past because I didn’t like the idea of taking space away from truckers that have no other options. They have tons of space here so that wasn’t an issue. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might not be for you. For us, the engines and generators run... more

They have tons of space here so that wasn’t an issue. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might not be for you. For us, the engines and generators running were just white noise. We slept great and had a great diner breakfast at the restaurant before heading out in the morning. We would absolutely stay here again.

I parked in the back corner of the dirt lot. There were a couple of semis and one pull-behind that looked like he might be living there. In my corner, no lights shining through my windows. The "resident" waved and politely said "Good Morning" but other than that, everyone kept to themselves. The restaurant looks good. I'm fully self-contained so didn't use the restrooms. My spot was very close to level. It was quiet and I felt very safe.
While walking my dog on the perephery, I did come across quite a few piles of shit, both with and without TP on top of them. I'm guessing most were from dogs, but I've never seen a dog wipe himself and then put the TP on top of his pile. Geez people, you get a free place to stay. BE POLITE. Even a dog doesn't shit where it eats and sleeps.
I will definitely stay here again on my way back in the other direction. It was just too easy and peaceful to pass up.
Scott would stay here again

We needed a place to sleep for a couple hours. Lots of semi’s, a few rv’s, a couple cars. What do you expect? It was safe and necessary. Would stop again if needed to.

Safe overnight parking for trailers, RVs of any size. Designated parking spaces next to enormous area for big rigs. Lots of trucks idling. If your RV/van/trailer isn’t well insulated it might be too noisy. For me, it worked out fine. Free wifi is a plus, as is the easy access to the freeway. Did not venture inside the truck stop/... more
