Wonderful campground! We stayed here 4 nights and loved it. The grounds are amazingly landscaped. The hosts are the friendliest we have ever been around. Highly recommend!

Looking for a place near Enterprise and Joseph and this place fit the bill. The river runs right next to the park. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Couple of spots would fit a rig of our size.

The hosts were very friendly and kept a neat and tidy place. Bathrooms were up to date and very clean. There are little green grassy strips for each plastic picnic table. We met many friendly people staying here. There appears to be a few long term folks just living here....
We stayed here an extra night to explore up (and back) the Lostine River Canyon. Which we highly recommend.

This campground was in a beautiful location, with the Wallowa River running right in front of my site. The hosts were very friendly; this is the only campground I have stayed at where the host came to my site when I was hitching up to shake my hand and thank me for staying there. The grounds were spotlessly clean and manicured. The only problem was the shortness of the sites - I had to park my truck at the front of the property.
The Wallowa Valley is very beautiful, and bordered on the south by the Wallowa Mountains, still with snow on them in late August. While here, I rode the Wallowa Lake Tramway (to 3700 ft above the valley), saw the bronze statues lining the main street of Joseph, and drove the Wallowa County barn tour (map available at the Chamber of Commerce in Enterprise). I had hoped to ride the Eagle Cap train, but it was not running the whole month of August.
The campground laundry was clean and low priced, at $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. Verizon 4G was great, with 4 bars, -82 dB, 13-23 Mbps down and 18 up.
Goebel’s gas station on Hwy 82, 1/2 mile west of the campground, had self-service pumps and gas 10 cents cheaper than the stations in Enterprise. Ed Staub in Enterprise had propane at a good price.

Willows line the banks of the river that forms the western boundary of the park. The lawns are well maintained with flowers at every space.
The park is well maintained with a camp host and the owners live on the northern end of the park. Joe is really friendly and happy to help with information about places to go in the area.
We had excellent cell coverage [AT&T] with 5 bars and plenty of bandwidth. The towers are on the bluff overlooking the camp. Cable TV is available and there are several OTA TV stations also available. WiFi was VERY GOOD with plenty of bandwidth to download and stream Netflix....and the park was completely full, so I'm sure it was getting a workout.
The rest rooms and laundry areas were clean and well maintained.
I'd stay here again.

Pretty nice little park. Nicely manicured with plants and flowers and benches spaced along the river. We wanted a spot facing the river so our particular site was small for our 45 foot motorhome. Since our back end stuck out in the road, they had us put up orange cones. Not a problem! The sites are close together, and we had to do some tree trimming to fit in our site. Utilities worked as they should, well, except for one day when we lost power on a 100+ day. My husband and our friend reported the outage to the owner (wife). Her husband wasn't there so she told my husband where the breakers were, and he and our friend reset it. So it's possible to get some hands on duty :) The WII FI was intermittent but we had decent cell service. Loved putting our chairs in the shallow part of the river and enjoying some adult beverages! FYI - they only accept cash or check so be prepared.
