“Great Option in this area”

Reviewed Jan 20, 2018

Overall Rating

We stayed here twice over the fall and we have stayed several times in the last few years as we have family in the area. The location is convenient: directly off of Why 126 between Santa Clarita and Ventura; just up the road the 5 freeway. Most shopping needs can be met in a 5-10 minute drive. The park is large and packed in tightly. ... more

“Great Park Must Stay!”

Reviewed May 09, 2017

Overall Rating

We had a great time at this park. It was well maintained and it the staff was kind. It was an easy in and out of the RV Park for access. We ended up going to six flags since the park had discounted tickets for the family. The town just outside the park was very nice and there are some great walks/hikes to do in the area. We had a ... more

“If you need to stay near LA, it's a nice stop”

Reviewed Apr 26, 2017

This is a massive RV park mostly inhabited by full-timers. The park is extremely clean and professionally run. The location is nice, just miles from Castaic/Valencia, so if you need anything it is nearby. The spots are average size for California. The pools are nice and kept up very well. The park is not too far from LA, eith... more

My camping club (a Good Sam Club) goes here at least once or twice a year and I pass by it twice a week (to go to work). I love this place! It's on the 126 freeway and is about 30 seconds away (driving) to the 5 interstate. It has adult and children's pools and a hot tub. Full facilities and the folks in the office and store are gr... more

“A Busy Park in Northern Los Angeles County”

Reviewed Mar 20, 2017

Overall Rating

We stay here to visit with our kids (we lived here before going fulltime). It is a very crowded park with lots of long-term residents. Most are uncluttered but it feels like a trailer park in most sections. Sites are mostly level and the utilities work well. Tall trees provide some shade and in March didn't block our satellite. “Convenient Place to Stay”

Reviewed Jan 09, 2017

Overall Rating

We stayed here while visiting Universal Studios to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It admittedly wasn't our first choice because we didn't want to be far away from the theme park, but we were pleasantly surprised by this spot. Balboa RV Park was closed on January 1st so we couldn't arrive there that day--I'm thinking because t... more

“Convenient to Six Flags but crowded with narrow sites.”

Reviewed Mar 21, 2016

We stayed here for a week while visiting Six Flags in March 2015. The park is very convenient to Six Flags (10 minutes) and the town of Valencia. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hot tub looked nice (although we didn't use it, it was frequently full of people). There's a decent-sized fenced dog area... it's long which is nic... more

It's a big RV park with tight rows of sites. I'm talking 2 ft of grass between you and the next guy. There does seem to be room for slide outs and awnings, which are abundant here. We found ourselves wondering why anyone stays here (and they do, the place is packed) so we asked around: 1) They come to visit family who live in LA area.... more
