We arrived the day after Christmas and there were only 3 other campers in the lot. It was extremely quiet and it felt safe enough to leave our trailer while we went to Carlsbad Caverns. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed just one night but we had time to explore the park a bit, lots of amenities like a pool and bar. Large sites all paved. There is also a security gate as you enter. Would have stayed more nights if we could.

Booked the same day on recreation.gov and got a great spot by the toilets. The sites are paved and very large with wooded areas around all sites. It was so quiet even though we stayed the Monday after Dune Fest. Definitely recommend.

Free and easy to find. Gravel lot behind hotel is fairly level, lots of space and quiet. Nice view of the mountains.

Give your ID inside for the key to dump. It was very busy with deliveries at 9 am on a Tuesday. Had to wait for Pepsi and fedex to move their trucks but otherwise can’t complain.
