This was the perfect spot for visiting the caverns, white sands, and Guadalupe peak. Huge amount of room, minimal noise, and amazing sunsets and views of the stars. Feels safe and is an easy drive to Carlsbad. We had zero trouble finding a level spot wit ha 32" trailer and large truck.

Water, propane, groceries, souvenirs and clothing. Very nice laundry mat. And restaurant. Not far from Carlsbad and other attractions. And again for those with US Cellular phone. .This was a strange one. My husband and I have the same plan with the same phones but he had good service I had none. However I had service just up the road a mile.

Nothing special, some noise from main road, lots of space, but if you want a little privacy get there early to get a spot along the fence. Easy access in and out. Great for boonedocking.

Exactly what you need, exactly what they say it is.
A big square gravel parking lot, and a huge dumpster at one corner.
About ten minutes to Carlsbad caverns, half an hour or so to Guadalupe Mountains.
Great for boondocking. If you're in the area, stay here.

We drove past Chosa less than half mile on the main road and there were 2 pull off sites with fire pits - more quiet and private. We pulled a small trailer (16 ft) room to turn around. No road noise - beautiful!

A great, easy place to set up. Nothing special. Trash bins make it easy for you to keep it clean! I came here because I was racing against sunset so I needed a place I could get in easily. And ended up staying here for a few days. Great Verizon and AT&T signals!

Hardest decision was where to park! Lots of room, not much road noise, dark at night! Big dumpster for trash, this is dry camping at a high level! Or even try Sunset Reef Campground, also a BLM facility, just up the road; north on US62 turn left on 418 - Washington Ranch Road, take your first right onto dirt road. It's on google maps.
We had 1-2 bars ATT LTE, but signal would drop at times.

It does not get much easier than this place. Flat, level, easy. Dark sky at night, a little noise from what little traffic is on the nearby highway. Blacktop road off the highway leads to the gravel parking lot Convenient to Carlsbad Caverns. Did I say, “FREE?”
I have two bars of service for Verizon, and it extremely fast!

Nothing special but sure is nice to have a large open flat free place to camp a couple nights while visiting the caverns. Even with a fair number of rigs seems like it still has tons of space. I mean, it's a parking lot (gravel) but its totally adequate. It's not a destination in itself.
