"Quiet and cold in December"

This was the perfect spot for my family. We got into Death Valley pretty late and just wanted to park and sleep. We noticed other campers in tents, and by the time we woke up, they were all gone, probably trekking up to Telescope Peak. You’re in... Read more

"Free and convenient "

We asked two different people in Walmart whether we can stay overnight here. One said “Yes?” like she didn’t really know but she said she sees people parked outside all the time. All the other person said was it depends on the manager. We didn’t... Read more

"Easy park and sleep, but busy and noisy "

It was super late, and we didn’t want to risk driving all the way to Vegas. We parked on the gravel area. I’m a light sleeper, so although my husband slept fine, I was up all night from riggers pulling in and out and lights blaring in our trailer.... Read more

"Close to Lassen NP"

We stayed two nights here pulling a 22ft trailer. It wasn’t too far off the highway. There was one other longer trailer next to us, and I didn’t see where another trailer/RV could fit, but it looks like 2 other tents could fit. We saw a lot of... Read more

"Free and space for RVs and Trailers"

We wanted a free place in the forest, and this was just off the road. It was quiet, and there were tons of spots. Although we thought there were a lot of bugs, my family would stay here again. We felt safe, and it wasn’t too bad a drive into South... Read more
