While this is a bit out of the downtown area its quiet, with great cell service from ATT and Tmobile with LTE and 5g TM.. Want to stress to big rigs to NOT go past the campground.. We tried several campground but they all wanted the jackpot. Therefore we decided to try Hole in the Rock BLM It went out very well, we left after 7 nights (time to dump) It was quiet, lots of space, reasonable cell reception. And close to the Escalante highlights.

Taking the exit of the 24 to enter the BLM-land be carefull the first part is rough with big boulders. We stayed 2 nights and it was convenient and close to Capitol Reef.

Each site paid or primative has a firepit, table, trash bin, spacious lots, and free, yes FREE firewood. There are 2 large resemble pavilions and 2 playgrounds. Lots of grassy spots, a baseball and basketball field. Bathrooms...
