This is a wonderful place to boondock, conveniently located right off I-40. Yes, I can hear traffic, but it's white noise for this city girl. Hope to see gobs of stars tonight since it's a new moon.

This is one of the nicest rest areas I've ever seen. The parking area for rv's is behind the building so the highway noise is minimal. There is free wifi at this location. Yeah! We stayed at Walmart in Fort Stockton last night, but this is nicer... Read more
