The park is clean and well maintained, except the shower. The sign says to park on gravel and not the grass, but there is nothing but grass except the roads and 3 small parking spots. I didn't see that until the next morning and I had parked on the grass. No one said anything to me. It was a Thursday night and very quiet. One other RV in the park. I would definitely stay again. It is a good place to work from when I need a grocery, errand, and laundry day.

Be prepared to endure some high winds if you go around that time. Other than that they have bathrooms and a place to throw your trash..no showers. Enough area for at least 3 travel trailers or smaller rv's that's right on the water.😁 Enjoy!

We had our reservations cancelled at a state park so needed a place to meet up with some friends for a few days. We stayed here for one night and it was very nice. We could not get a permit because it was Saturday and nobody was there so we called the Sheriffs office and they said it was no problem to stay for the night. We parked in a dry camping spot because the grassy areas were very wet and soft. Had a beautiful sunset and enjoyed walking around the park. Very clean park and nobody was around except for a couple people fishing

This is a county park with bathrooms and a few tables, but little else. It is free but uou need to get a permit from the county office just past airport rd about a mile away. Nice view and friendly locals. Three days stay no hook ups.

Free Camping in Texas / Fort Anahuac Park - Drivin' & Vibin'
Our coastal path from Corpus Christi to Alabama has been full of sand & sun … a little too much to be honest. Once we left Galveston, we didn’t want to camp on the beach again for at least a few day...
