Arrived late and parked on outside loop, then moved to another campsite next to Tuttle Creek on the inside loop next morning. Beautiful wildflowers along creek, blooming thistle, Indian paintbrush, wild roses and lupine (watch out for ticks in vegetation along creek!), amazing views of storms approaching Alabama Hills and a wild dust storm.
The only complaint I had with campground is too many people don't pick up their dog's waste! The campground roads were littered with piles!

Stayed here two different times in mid-May and then early June 2021. Good sites, large, and well-spaced out. As others mentioned, some require a good bit of leveling, others are pretty flat. We stayed in two different sites at the far western edge of the CG and both were pretty flat. Both times that we were here less than 1/3 of the sites were taken. It can be hot and windy. We came here the first time because the Alabama Hills area was really crowded, and we didn’t want to spend the time looking for a quiet site. The CG has great views of the Sierra Nevada’s to the east, Owen Lake to the west, and beautiful sunsets. Potable water and dump. Sites are $8.00/$4.00 with pass.

This review is for the time we camped on 6/6 and 6/13. We camped here for 2 nights, 1 night was on our way to June Lake and the other was on the way back to LA. We love our site as it was a pull through site. Need a bit of leveling work but seem like majority of the sites there need to be leveled some what. All sites have amazing view of the Eastern Sierra and beautiful night sky. You can see the milky way after 10pm. All restroom were open and there were drinking water available the time we were there. Dump station next to the pay station and cost $5.
During the day it was hot (in the 90s) but with the breeze (wind) it felt like 80s. Everything started to cool down at around 6pm and it was perfect for evening bonfire. The creek water was nice and cold. Some site have access to the creek right at the back. Site 1-23 the even# sites are back to the creek.
About 15mins drive to Alabama Hills and other hiking trails. Would love to come back here and camp again.

We made it work on the third site with a 40ft fifth wheel…finding a level site was a bit challenging. With a smaller camper, van, or tent this would be an amazing place. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of being on the Eastern Sierra with Tuttle Creek babbling by the campsite. Camp site spacing is far apart and the sites are very long. We spent two nights here in two different sites. Good cell phone reception as well to be able to work remotely.
