“Nice Campground right on Elroy-Sparta Trail”

Reviewed 5/23/2023

Nightly rate: $50
Days stayed: 5
Site Number: 56
Overall Rating

This is a nice campground and right on the Elroy-Sparta bike/walking trail also connects to the 400 and a couple other trails. A lot of activities nearby as well. The Owner was nice and the bathrooms are clean. No sewer hook-up but water and power at each site. would recommend and would come back to explore more of the area. Only drawbacks are a lot of the sites are on grass and not very level. Also there is a shooting club across the hwy and can be noisy on the weekends.

This park has it all! Lots of sites, including some private ones, huge, lush trees, clean bathrooms, a store, mini golf, a pool, volleyball court, playground, and stellar bike trail. If you’re a cyclist, you can’t miss this! We’ve stayed at rv parks all over the country and this is one of the best. It’s very family-friendly but without kids running all over the place. It’s also family-owned for several generations and you can tell: there’s so much love that goes into this place. Will definitely be making it an annual destination!
