Tioga Lake Campground

This is an awesome location just east of the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park. Most of the sites were open when we arrived at about 5 pm in the afternoon. We found a site along the side of the lake and put up the top of the camper. The fee is $22 and we took the 50% discount with our park pass. In the morning we took a lovely 2 mile walk around the lake. Spectacular place to camp just off of highway 120. Dogs are allowed on leash. We did have some gusty winds which didn't bother us in our camper. With fall approaching the temperatures are dropping. At 7 am the temperature was 38 degrees. We did some road noise which died down after dark. This location is likely to be full earlier in the season and closed in the winter.
