There’s no excuse for a first-line state park to have such poor campsites. Narrow when it didn’t need to be; un level front-to-back and side-to-side; steep slope on driver’s side. No water. Our site but most sites are very sloping, and hilly. Longer rigs, over 15 feet will find it difficult. We are experienced and yet found the roads difficult and almost impossible with our 30’. No campground host was found. I won’t return nor recommend.

Really liked this campground, host was very nice and moved our spot once we found out we were near vault toilets. We were here during the week so the campground was almost empty - so it was quiet and peaceful.
The campground is older but they have made updates to the bathrooms and there is a really nice walking/bike path from the campground down to the marina/lake, and another picnic area, etc.
The only downfall is the sites do not have water - which makes for an additional worry when staying multiple days.

We camped here over the July 4th holiday weekend, and had a great time. We stayed in campground #1 site #18, which was paved and long enough for our 27' trailer and tow vehicle. It was not level but had plenty of trees and space. The lake, which is not within walking distance, was very nice. We rented kayaks and had an enjoyable time. Our site had 30 amp electric but there are no other hook-ups. The bathhouse was clean and about 100 yards from our site. The water and dump station were easy to access and use. Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again.

We are very pleased with the campground. It is clean and nicely shaded in all the sites. Campground 1 has paved spots which is where we stayed. Campground 2 has gravel spots.
