This campground was clean and well maintained and quiet. A marina is close by on the grounds. I had to travel on a 2 lane curvy country road for 55 miles to get to the campground. It's located in a tiny town with 2 gas station, Dollar General and a local market with very high prices. We camped at Theodosia Park in a Travel Trailer.

It’s the winter season and I couldn’t find anyone to ask about staying here overnight and since it’s open and dry camping only available, I chanced it. Nice and quiet until just before daybreak. I learned they were having a fishing tournament Saturday and so it got really noisy as the campground is between the entrance and a marina. I wanted to get an early start so wasn’t a problem. I’d love to come back here with my wife and try some fishing. Very nice covered picnic table, fire ring and grill at each site.

Since I’m self contained and don’t even need a generator, it’s a good choice. I couldn’t find any information about dry camping here, but I decided to chance it. I’m always prepared to leave if asked or told. I’d rather ask permission. Rain coming in and cooler temperatures, but very pleasant now. I’m going to enjoy my leftover steak and just relax.

Just opened for the season after massive flooding this year. Sites are nice, some shaded. Close to swim beach. Clean, nice showers. We are coming back for a ten day stay later in the month. Wonderful restaurant next door, and a full service marina.

Very nice Corp of Eng campground next to Bull Shoals Lake. Looks like the campground flooded last year. They've been re-asphalting all sites and the roads, and cleaning up dead trees and debris. Campground is very clean and well kept.
28 level sites all with tables, fire rings and lantern hooks. Sites are various lengths. All sites have 30 amp electric and water. No sewer at site, but nice dumpsite. Newer restrooms and showerhouse, all ADA accessible.
Other ammenities: playground, swim beach, boat ramp in campground. Next door to cg is a full service marina, restaurants, cabins and small motel.
Only negative is lack of trees/shade and busy cabins / restaurants / marina next door - but everything closed at 8pm and quieted down.
Lori would stay here again
