Who ever is managing it now, kudos. The park is clean, sites brushed, & it felt taken care of. It was spotty there for a while. Cell coverage was fabulous! That is the main reason for my update. The only reason why I didn't give site quality 5 stars, is because there are many sites that are steep, & not so big. However, many sites are 5 stars. Ours would have been a 5 star.

Snowflower is a beautiful natural rustic park. Most of the sites are fairly level and extremely long. Our site was in Upper Fawn, where we were surrounded by trees and giant rocks. Sites in the loops are nice too- especially on the lake. There’s also a flat parking lot type area for people who want to feel like their tailgating (?) or maybe for people who like concrete? The showers were excellent, clean, and hot. Great reception Verizon hotspot. Office staff were super helpful.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly, I had cell reception in the upper campground (which is a little tight for larger trailers), and the lower campground. Current speed test @ lower campground with ATT: Ping: 28, 25mbps down, 3.00mbps up. If I added my $20 MIMO antenna it would probably do even better.

Many things are the park were not working which was pretty unfortunate (4 of the 7 dryers in the laundry were broken) and the sites were only 30 amp power with water - so a long term stay could be tough. We parked in The Cliffs which was a large parking lot next to some cliffs. Hard to determine where each site started and ended, but it was close to pool and playground.
The "ski lodge" seemed well stocked with pool table, activities, and pretty good wifi.
We would stay here again since we are 1000trails members, but just have to be prepared for limited services.

There is a nice little lake at camp, also a larger one, Long Valley Resv., a short drive away. Great hikes from camp, and nearby in the Tahoe Nat'l Forest. Many lakes and trails off Bowman Rd. This camp has a pool and a club house and very clean bathrooms complete with showers. Each site has water & elect. There are two dump stations in the park. Cell service can be spotty. We have had sites with great Verizon service and some with spotty service.
