Many of the RV sites when you first arrive at the location are very close together, but you can also drive under the bridge to the other side where there is more space with spots in the grass. Many of the RV sites when you first arrive at the location are very close together, but you can also drive under the bridge to the other side where there is more space with spots in the grass. I'm currently camping here in the middle of June (so it's HOT), and the majority of spots do not have any natural shade. Most of the spots have been empty so my nearest neighbors on either side are three and four spots away. It's a nice location just minutes away from Forsyth, which as a few good restaurants and big grocery store. I'd stay here again.

This city park campground is just off the highway in an open area by the water. Some sites have concrete pads, others are dirt and subject to the weather. There are electric, water and sewer hookups. This city park campground is just off the highway in an open area by the water. Some sites have concrete pads, others are dirt and subject to the weather. There are electric, water and sewer hookups. It would be excessively charitable to call the restrooms “rustic”. These doorless facilities were outdated and unclean. I didn’t check out the showers. The host is a nice man.

Overall Rating
Just driving through, did not stay. Sites extremely close together. Electric and water at site. A few with sewer also.
Area is questionable. Drive past run down old motel and under bridge to access. Sign as you pull in says Flood Frequently.
Nice park around the corner. Location is good for fishing.
