This is a no frills campground with full hook-ups. There are no amenities and not much around the area, but as a stop over it was fine. It was a little pricey for what you get. We did not set up Starlink, but it appears the campground uses it. We had 4 bars on our Verizon phones (28/5). On the cell antenna, we had 5 bars (32/10) and ... more

Small town is easily accessible with couple of grocery stores and restaurants and everyone is friendly. Can watch the sunrise high above on the hilltop. We were in site 10 in a 25ft class B and were able to keep our road attached. Spaces are close together. WiFi not great…so what’s new?
Definitely would return for overnight.

My only reason to give it 4 instead of 5 stars is we were in a 26’ Class C with a tow car, and the access drive way to the sites is very close to the edge of the property, so once we were lined up with the water and electric, our car was still at a 45 degree angle from turning into the site.

Full hook ups, nothing fancy, gravel lot, fairly level, plenty of room to turn our rig around, Not much road noise and easy to reserve. Called one day before arrival. Had some cool old stuff to look at on grounds. Up on a bluff. Great if you are self contained. Quiet too.

We stopped her for one night while traveling between Bend and Ontario. The campground has a row of 10 pull-through full-hookup sites and an area for dry camping, all located on the edge of a huge gravel parking area around a large restaurant (the restaurant itself is currently closed). When we pulled in, there was a free-standing whiteboard that listed who was in each site (and thus which sites were available), but we’d picked our site (site 7) online so we already knew where we were going to be.
Other reviewers said they backed into their pull-through spot because the lane behind the sites is narrow. We scoped it out when we got there, and while it was a tad narrow for making the 90-degree left turn into the site, we were able to do it with our 37-foot fifth wheel without any trouble, despite the small trees on both sides of the back of the site. Be aware that the site numbers are only really visible from the front of the site, so it’s a good idea to make note of your site location before you go to pull in. The hookups are in a standard location, and their presence, along with a large white cement block, mark the border of your site. We did put a board under our door-side camper tires to help us level a bit. There was plenty of room to park the truck in front of the camper. The trees were just a little taller than the camper, so we only got patches of shade. Not every site had a tree nearby, which is something to keep in mind in the summer given that some sites only have a 30amp connection to power any AC units you might have (all of the 50amp sites were already spoken for when we made our reservation).
Despite being an overnight campground, there are a few places to hang out. There is a picnic bench and fire pit behind the full hookup area, and another beyond site 10 that overlooks the valley. There is also an outdoor covered porch with seating behind the restaurant, and next to that a grass lawn with a horseshoe area. There are also lush grass areas on the sides of the restaurant, which was where we ended up walking the dogs. There is a small dumpster for trash and a porta-potty adjacent to the full-hookup sites. I don’t know why the restaurant is closed - it looks like it’s in great shape - but apparently there’s a decent fast food joint within walking distance just down the hill next to the gas station that has breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 69Mbps down and 11 up, so streaming video was not a problem. The best speed I got on my AT&T smartphone was 60Mbps down and 10 up.
We would stay here again if we needed an overnight spot in the area.
