Rye Street RV Park

My family and I stumbled upon this little piece of Heaven on Campendium and I’m so glad we did! We stayed about a month waiting to close on our new home. The town is nicknamed “Mayberry” and has historic buildings, general store and even walking tours. The people are unbelievably friendly - one neighbor brought over a box of veggies and the owner of the site, Bruce, couldn’t have been more accommodating and just an absolute pleasure to talk to. It’s conveniently located next to a nice lake, a general store/gas station, and even horse riding trails where we rented horses and did a trail ride one Saturday morning. And don’t miss the weekly blue grass music, played live on the radio while you eat some amazing southern food and watch in person! Note Verizon service was just okay, I was able to work remotely from there though with little issues using it as a hot spot. The town actually has an open WiFi network but it was spotty at best.
