“Lovely spot on the Huzzah Creek in Mark Twain NF”

The three spots on the bluff are private and have good cell service (AT&T). I opted for a spot closer to the creek (no cell service). There are two loops; one with paved sites, the other with mostly gravel sites. On the stretch between the two loops are several paved sites with hookups.

Vault toilets, central water spigots.

The creek is lovely, with the best swimming spot at the day-use are under the bluff.

Minor issue the second night with someone who didn't realize that the quiet hours (10pm to 6am) meant no generators. This was addressed by the camp host.

They have about 45 sites, 5 of those have electricity. When we called ahead, the host said there were no reservations. It was first come first served. However, some sites had reserved signs on them. I don’t know what that was about. We used three of the pit latrines, one of those smelled like urine. Most pads are not level. They have great fire rings. The host sold wood but said you could bring your own. Only three sites had cell service (ATT). They were on the Pine Overlook. This is tent camping only on top on a bluff looking toward the sunrise. This campground is in Mark Twain National Forest. If you have a national park pass, you will get half off the cost.
