We have a Fuzion428 so we are long. The sites are generous with picnic tables, shades, fire pit. level on 61 and 62 (our dtr and son in law were in 62). plenty of room for our 2 dogs to be outside. 2 boat ramps to launch from, cover nearby on Lake Cumberland Plenty of walk trails and bike trails. Peaceful area. Plenty of songbirds.

PCP has slowly becoming a nice park. They are currently expanding to add more sites for larger campers. Glad to see that efforts are being made to keep the park clean! Bath houses are clean but the showers are barely warm at best. Good thing I don’t mind cooler showers. Wouldn’t be an issue in the summer months. We stayed in site 15. It was level and spacious. The park sit on Lake Cumberland and the campground has its own boat launch for campers. Plenty of trails for hiking but has become a mountain biking hot spot! Many miles of trails for all skill levels from cross country style trails to big DH jump lines! So much fun! Our only real complaint is the kids on golf carts. It was like the Daytona 500 all weekend. PCP has rules against this but they aren’t enforced or followed.
BottomsUp! would stay here again

We had high hopes for this campground. On the map it looked like a nice spot on the edge of a lake. Unfortunately, what we found was a very run down campground with SO MUCH trash everywhere. We arrived in the early evening and found the check in booth empty and the gate open. Called the number and was told to pick a site and come pay in the morning. There was no one else in the campground so we had out choice of sites. We drove around a few times and were appalled by the piles of trash at many of the sites. Things like a half burnt pizza, two outdoor rugs, beer cans, wrappers, old rotting fruit, and lots of cigarette butts. We gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking that it was a Sunday and maybe things got wild over the weekend and no one had picked up yet (but seriously, who leaves behind that much trash when they're camping?) We stayed 3 nights and no one came to pick up the trash. We also noticed while walking around the campground that the roads were lined with old bits of trash.
We didn't use the restrooms, but I did use the washer and dryer. Except the dryer didn't work (and didn't have a sign saying so) and I ended up with a load of wet laundry. Great.
The campground has potential. It's on a nice lake, there are trees all around, and a large picnic area with a disc golf course. Sadly, it seems that the county has no interest in maintaining this park, yet still collects $19 for camping. We would not camp there again.
