Not all sites are on the online reservation site. #34 is, but is impossibly unlevel. # 36 is not online but is wonderfully level. My rv is 32 feet.

Saw a family of javelinas on the way in, which was very exciting!

As soon as I pulled into the camping area a host drove out and helped spot for me while I backed into my site. Then another maintenance person came by and introduced themselves and told me to let them know if I needed anything. Everyone out here was extremely friendly and helpful.
Overall I thought this park was great. It was large and had a ton of hiking trails. My dog and I probably hiked 15 miles while we were here. They aren't the most exciting trails in the world, but they are very nice and well-maintained and the forests are beautiful. A mountain bike would also be a lot of fun out here and I saw a lot of people riding over the weekend. There are signs saying there are alligators out here but unfortunately I never saw any. Also, I didn't see any mention of it anywhere, but there were signs of wild hogs rooting all over the hiking trails. I never saw a hog either, but that might be something to watch out for while you're out there.
Throughout the week I was almost the only person camping in the whole campground, aside from the hosts. There were maybe one or two other campers. But then on Friday the entire place filled up for the weekend with a lot of families.
Verizon service was okay at my site. At times it would drop between 3G and LTE, but most of the time it worked well enough. Other places I went in the park had perfect LTE signal, so I think it might have just been my site that was a little spotty.
I'm only taking off one star for Site Quality because my site was pretty sloped. It was actually pretty much level side to side, but I had to drop the tongue almost to the ground to get it level front to back. This looked to be the case with a lot of the sites out here. Everything else was perfect. The restrooms and showers were very nice and every time I went in there they looked like they had just been cleaned.

This is a great campground. Lots of private to semi-private sites. Beware that some sites are very un-level. Our site (142) however was very unlevel. We take our four pups and there are lots of fun trails to explore.

sometimes you don't have to go to far. this is the closest state park to me and i have been neglecting it for some reason. we finally decided to go in early May and we will be coming back regularly. this is a HUGE park with many many miles of trails. the swimming area is great. sites have plenty of trees although you do see your neighbors, that being said, the sites are spaced pretty far apart so there is some level of privacy. we had a direct view of the lake. the site was not level side to side, so it took a bit of leveling, maybe 10-15 minutes. they have store with snacks/drinks by the swimming area. they also had a snow cone truck, although i don't know how regular that is. this is a gorgeous park.

We camped here along with a couple of other friends. After finding what we thought were nice spots in the Raven Hill campground, we proceeded to set up. Our two sites were wildly unlevel. Our friends had an RV that levels itself and by the time it was done, the front wheels were off the ground. About that time, one of the neighbors pulled out, so we took their two spots. Again, our site was very unlevel. Our friends then found after getting all leveled out that their sewer connection was actually uphill rendering it virtually unusable.
There are a couple other areas that are not full hookups, but we did not check those out. It could be they are a bit more level. My impression of this park is it is aging and could use some sprucing up. However, it is a setting lovely park set in a mature pine forest with an abundance of birds.
While I would camp here again, there are many other Texas State Parks that I prefer.

This is a beautiful park, and if our plans had been different, we would have extended our stay. We stayed in a W/E site for $20 a night (second night half off with our TX state park pass $70 a year, covers entrance fees). Site 148 was a concrete pad, and relatively level (easy to adjust with blocks) and spaced nicely to the lake and other sites, which was true for most the sites we saw. The park is clean and well kept, including a dock for fishing and various trails for bikes and hikes. We took the check-in rangers advice on selecting a site (TX booking doesn't allow site selection in advance but will next year), and while ours worked out fine, we probably would have chosen otherwise if we'd seen the park first (the camp host was a bit surprised that we weren't placed elsewhere). Aside from that, our only complaint is that even with a boost our T-mobile coverage was pretty weak.
