Risky for lunches and ice creams. There is a spur that takes you to fish hate here also you will not want to miss and also taking in Dutch bakery nearby at the end of a beautiful 9 mile paved biking trail.
Jimmy would stay here again

This is good for kids, has a nice beach area. Cost a bit much for what you get. Ok showers, didn't work in the morning. Just too many people too close for my camping desires. Had to take it last minute. Other parts, not Tannery Creek, may be much better. People did quite down.

This is a crowded family camp with walking access to the bay beach. Bike trails will lead right into town.

We spent 2 nights in the state park, surrounded by very friendly campers on all sides. Our site had quite a few trees and was mostly sandy and rocky but fairly level. There are quite a few sites that are mostly grassy but they are snapped up pretty quickly. The bath house was a short walk away. We received advice from local beachgoers on how to find petoskey stones. The beach was just a few dozen steps away and the sunset was gorgeous.
