Wonderful place to stay in Orange County that is affordable! I was one of only three RVs in this lot. The security staff was very friendly and checked on me daily. Taking my dog for a walk around the quiet fairgrounds was really nice. There was a farmer's market going on and the Centennial vegetable garden was amazing! Winterfest OC was happening but it was on the opposite side of the fairgrounds, so not too noisy and ended at 10pm. I could hear the Christmas music which was festive!
When checking in, use gate 5 off of Arlington Ave. The gate will be closed but there is a security phone number that you call. I did try two other gates before I discovered this. They accept credit cards and it was very easy to come and go with my parking permit. Highly recommend!

Finding reasonably priced facilities in Southern California is a challenge. This location is listed by others as closed, it appears that it was at some point but is now reopened. Finding reasonably priced facilities in Southern California is a challenge. This location is listed by others as closed, it appears that it was at some point but is now reopened. Basic facilities with full hookups, but 20 amp Max on power. If you're lucky you'll end up on the asphalt parking area, but it looks like they fill up fast. Otherwise you're out on the regular property. It's not bad, and quiet. Be advised that check in is quite entailed, requiring driver's license, registration and insurance, to weed out the riff raff. Getting into the camping area is a little confusing, you need to drive around the perimeter to gate 5 and pull up to the security shack. Everyone was helpful, this is not a place I'd want to stay for a long time, but it certainly worked well for an overnight.

Called every phone number, tried to use the website, basically tried to do anything possible to confirm there was camping before driving all the way out. Was unable to confirm anything so finally just “risked” driving out. Well, they’re closed for the whole week. No voicemail, no message on the website, no possible means of saving us the several hours of wasted driving. Collasal waste of time, so be warned they will turn you away with absolutely no way to find out beforehand.

We stumbled upon the fair grounds on accident. We bought our jeep in Newport Beach, and had a bunch of customization done at Orange County Motorsports. While there are no amenities (not more than a parking lot), the location can't be beat! Not to mention all the events going on while we were there - cirque du soleil, Gun show, Food Trucks, Centennial Farm, on and on and on.
