We stayed overnight and loved it. The grounds are gorgeous and the place is quiet. Friendly staff and nice hook ups. Cement pads with a lot of space. We will stay there again.

We enjoyed this campground (CG) as this was our 4th year coming back. There is plenty of signage and GPS takes you right to the CG. You turn left after the railroad tracks that will take you around the golf course, past the clubhouse, and to the check-in office. Do not go to the clubhouse to register, it is a small parking lot not suitable for RVs. After we checked in, we proceeded to buddy sites 60 and 60A. We easily backed into 60A and set up for our two-month stay. Madison had a rough 2023 with hurricane damage that was still being cleaned up when we arrived in mid-February. Our nightly rate is based on the monthly rate and golf package. We enjoyed golfing on their 9-hole course. WiFi is better than normal for this sized CG and we got two bars on Verizon. We had clear shots of the southern or northern sky for satellite and several OTA channels. On the back of the office are showers and a laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. Firewood & propane were available and included propane pickup (set the tank at the end of your site) and firewood delivery if requested. The CG has a nice mix of back-in and pull-thru sites. Our buddy site was spacious, but we would rate the other sites as "nearby." They also have three cabins for rent. This CG is not a kids’ destination (big pro for us) as there is no playground nor much to do for the young ones. The CG is more adult-oriented with a pickleball court and activities such as group walks or special events like golf tournaments/leagues, karaoke, game nights, and potlucks. There is a large (about 2 acres) fenced dog park with a fenced-off area for small dogs. If you are allergic to train noise, a train track is adjacent to the CG. Trains run periodically normally during the day. Otherwise, this is a quiet park considering its size.

This was our second stay at this great campground and we were not disappointed. The level, pull thru sites have full hook ups and the WiFi is excellent. The showers are some of the nicest we have ever used! An added bonus is that they pick up your reach at your site. We will be back!

As this was our third time here, we did not need an escort to our site, 60a, to meet up with our travel partners who were in site 60. Sites 60 and 60A are the buddy sites by the pond. Our nightly rate of $41 was based on the monthly rate, electricity, and a golf package with the cart. The CG area is adjacent to their well-maintained 9-hole course. WiFi is better than normal for this sized CG, and we got two bars on Verizon. We had a clear shot of the northern sky for Starlink, and there were several OTA channels. As this is a newer CG with not a lot of interior mature trees, there is no problem with satellite reception. Connected to the office are 3 very nice individual shower rooms and a laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. If a washer or dryer breaks, they get it repaired quickly. Firewood & propane were available, including free propane pickup (set the tank at the end of your site) and firewood delivery if requested. The CG has a nice mix of back-in and pull-thru sites. Our buddy site was spacious, but would rate the other sites as "nearby." They also have three cabins for rent. This CG is definitely not a kids’ destination (big pro for us) as there is no playground nor much to do for the young ones, including they aren't allowed to operate the golf carts. The CG is more adult-oriented, with a pickleball court and activities such as group walks or special events like golf tournaments/leagues, karaoke, and potlucks. This year they added a very nice Tiki Bar at the pool. A huge bonus for us is the large (about 2 acres) fenced dog park. There’s a smaller fenced-off area for small dogs. We also enjoyed daily walks around the CG and along the front of the golf course. If you are allergic to train noise, there is a train track adjacent to the CG. Trains didn't run every day, but when they did, they have been during daylight hours. Otherwise, this was a quiet park considering its size. Madison has your basic amenities and a few restaurants. Valdosta, GA, is about 30 minutes away with the major amenities such as Walmart and big box stores. If you’re a foodie or desire a robust touristy experience, this is probably not the destination for you.

We stayed here for one night while making our way across northern Florida. Follow the driving directions provided by the campground when you make your reservation: our Garmin GPS would have taken us past the campground, and Google Maps has no knowledge of the road that leads to the resort or the roads within the resort. When you arrive at the entrance to the resort, the closed exit gate will be on your right: turn left and take the one-way paved road up to the pro shop, where the signs will direct you to turn right to reach the resort sites (the campground). You will pass some pickleball courts next to a pavilion, then reach a stop sign where you will be directed to look to the right for any golfers hitting off the tee before you cross over the fairway and enter the campground. Check in at the yellow two-story office building - which has an ATM and laundry facilities in the back - and someone will escort you to your site.
The sites are a mix of pull-throughs and back-ins. Most sites have concrete pads with patios, but some have gravel pads. All the sites had picnic tables, fire rings, and grass yards. A few sites have trees (but most of the trees are too short to provide much shade), but most have a clear view of the sky. Our site (84) was a pull-through with enough room to park both our 37-foot fifth wheel and 21-foot truck with several feet to spare. The hookups were located in a standard location, and the site was level. The spacing between sites is wider than that of most private park (at least 25 feet between pads). The campground roads in the vicinity of the office and the main road within the campground are paved; the rest are gravel.
There are two fenced-in dog parks at the back of the campground: one large one and one huge one (well over a half acre), both with lush grass surfaces. We used the smaller one, and while nice the chain latch for the gate still allows the gate to open enough for most dogs to slip through, and it is not lit at all at night. There are also open areas near the office for walking dogs. The rules printed on the campground map say “no dog kennels on site”, but I saw a few spots with temporary dog enclosures.
It looks like they have scheduled events most days, like group walks, pickleball pickup games, and of course golf-related activities. They were finishing up a wine tasting event when we arrived. It didn’t look like there was anything geared towards children: there is no playground. There is a swimming pool, but it’s next to the pro shop, so it’s a long walk from the campground. Seemed like a lot of the residents either rented golf carts or had their own.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 60 Mbps down and 13 up, so we had no trouble streaming video during the evening. But the next morning (Sunday), my hotspot couldn’t pull down any data, likely losing out to heavy usage from nearby Verizon phone users. The one speed test I ran on my 5G AT&T smartphone showed 129 Mbps down and 5 up. I tried out the campground WiFi the afternoon we arrived and saw 16 Mbps down and 3 up (note: we did have a repeater right next to us).
We would stay here again for an overnight stop.

On our way to Fla for Christmas we found this gem for an overnight stay. This place is beautiful, the sites are huge. This place is big rig friendly, most the sites are large enough for your rig, a toad or tow vehicle. We had a great experience. We camped at Madison RV and Golf Resort in a 40' Motorhome.

Utilities were placed perfectly and the paved sire was level, including a patio area perfect for relaxing after a long travel. Although there were a few obvious long term residents, all was maintained perfectly. There is nightly friendly pickle ball activity and they even showed a concert for the enjoyment of all last evening. The location off the interstate allows for a more rural setting while still being very convenient! No road noise and a serene environment. Definitely the perfect stay and we will be back again. Thanks!

The owner was so awesome and friendly. He gave us his personal cell phone number when we called to book a site and greeted us when we got there and told us to call him if we have any questions. We got a cute welcome bag with the best coozies we've ever seen.
The campground was huge and so pretty. We didn't use the amenities, but we checked them out and everything was spotless and brand new. There were many full timers. They were all so nice and all of the sites looked fantastic. If you stay for an extended time they even let you use a golf cart for free. The dog park was the largest we've seen yet.
Sites were all large, level, with nice concrete patios. A large lake in the middle of the campground.
The only possible downside might be that there isn't a lot in the area or campground. Kids might get bored, but there were kids and they all seemed very happy.
We honestly can't say enough great things about this quiet, hidden gem.
Since we were only there overnight, we didn't really have much use for cell service.
