We arrived on a Thursday and promptly had issues getting our 30’ trailer into our site. There are wooden posts all over the campground that prevent people from getting the proper maneuverability to back a larger trailer. We arrived on a Thursday and promptly had issues getting our 30’ trailer into our site. There are wooden posts all over the campground that prevent people from getting the proper maneuverability to back a larger trailer. I’m sure they are there to prevent people from parking on the grass, but there was one directly across from the driveway to our site. Then we found that the site was not even remotely level.
The sites are very close together, with the fire pit of the neighboring camp less than 10 feet away from our slide out. With this proximity, generators tended to be louder because there wasn’t any brush to absorb sounds.
The vault toilets were mostly clean.
The kids were able to get a little cell service (2 bars) at the beach, but at camp, there was no service.

There are a few different locations in this area by the lake - RV PARK, then campground, then another campground that is more like a parking lot for vans. I came during off season (October to may) and the RV park and parking lot were free! So I parked in the parking lot and hiked up the hill and set up my tent. Was so beautiful! Above the lake, secluded.
Ps if you are looking specifically at this campground — it’s decent — has the basics, sort of tight. Is right next to the water —- I personally would camp at the last campground and “back pack” your way up the hill for more peace and space and beauty.

Gravel campsites. (Some sites are very short) Water spigots. Table and fire ring. (My table was broken) Vault toilets. Ranger House on site. Pleasant campground host. Overall Rating
Great campground! We stayed one night on our way back home. There are pit toilets and water spigots, we have a small trailer but there are spots that can easily accommodate larger trailers. I would say here again!
