I called from the road and the young woman who helped me said they'd hold a site for us, just call if our plans changed. We weren't in the back, where people rave abut the view, we were up front near the fireplace and stove business that this seems to be run out of, so our view wasn't much, but our site is level and grassy and steps from a pretty darn clean bathroom/shower that we've had mostly to ourselves. No wifi to speak of, but woman in shop gave me password to the business wifi and it's worked great from our nearby site. We needed an easy night like this in a quiet spot, just passing through. Our neighbors are either our touring or they work locally, nice neat trailers with no sprawl around them.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was so nice. The site is level, full hookups and about 45 minutes to the Field of Dreams movie site. Rest room is okay but if you are self contained then you will love it. Just a small RV campground

Very nice property. Fun antiques dot the area. Beautiful, level sites with lots of room and privacy. The view out our front is amazing. Cornfields and hills. The owners are here 24/7 and keep things nice. The laundry rounded out the stay. Grass and shade. Fire pits, gravel parking area. Several pull throughs and some back ins.

We loved it here. Wally and Dana make it so! They run a tight and clean ship and our site (12) was long, level, and accommodating. They built this park on their 10ac as a retirement project. Reservations is made through Rover Pass which charges a $7.50 fee. A pet is another $5. WORTH IT! You'll get a response via that site but do not need to sign up to read it. Just look in the body of the email and Dana will typically answer with her number and ask you to call upon arrival. They will visit you at your site.
When you arrive, the entrance is marked by a small sign and driveway to the left of the building (which isn't an office). The access is a bit narrow but we had no issues with our 43' coach pulling a 22ft trailer. Because the pathways are narrow, be careful not to rut the grass if you can help it. Water pressure is right at 45psi and quality of power, water, and sewage are all great.
Strawberry Point is an idyllic small Iowa town and you MUST get over to see Backbone State Park. It's gorgeous!! Wally and Dana offered to drive us all over their community and showed us the backroads, all over Backbone State Park, and then took us to see where Al Capone had his stills. We felt like family and will definitely be back.
LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay here! Thanks so much Wally and Dana!
