This is a great camping spot. Water, dump and trash. When we camped here no host, but it was quiet and nice to camp there.

All sites, I believe, have a nice picnic table, fire ring, barbecue, with no other hook ups. The Las Vegas Wash (stream), was down a relatively steep hill, but walking distance. Sorry fisherman, no fish in this stream. Trash dumpsters are available as are restrooms.
Good spots-
All spots are relatively the same in terms of quality and I think they’re all pretty good, but the outer loop spaces have the most privacy and best views. Space is 30 and 31 are seemingly the most private, and they have a path that is not as steep to get to the stream than most of them. The even numbered spaces between 40 and 58 (+57) are some of my favorites and also have a stream view and sit on top of a hill. Nice place to put your chair and watch the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Great little campsite by Lake Mead. Very quiet with sweeping views of the arid, mountainous surroundings. Big sites, for our 21’ trailer. Not many amenities…restrooms, water faucets, picnic tables and asphalt pads. We’re in a non-generator loop (happily), as generators are allowed from 6am-10pm. The bike loop is across the highway from the campground, but it’s really hilly, as the terrain would suggest. Looks like it uses an old highway through the park. We rode a bit of it.

This campground is well-maintained and convenient to Henderson and Las Vegas. I think that's its strong point. This campground is well-maintained and convenient to Henderson and Las Vegas. I think that's its strong point. The pads are asphalt and many of the sites will fit a larger (30+) rig and be wide enough to park your tow vehicle on the pad as well. One feature of this park that you might not find elsewhere is a little bit of shade. Many of the sites have a eucalyptus tree to provide some shade. It's much appreciated in the desert. We stayed in the back loop which does not allow generators. It was quiet at night except for the howls of the coyotes. And you will want to be careful with your dog because of the coyotes at night. They lie in wait in the bushes along the road. Fortunately I have a big dog so the coyote took off running once my dog snarled.

There is ONE non-generator loop, a good start, but I believe that the generator loops should be in the minority now…..cheap generators are ruining the entire outdoor experience…

Nice place. Wish it would have hookups. We stayed in late May and it was too hot then. I can just imagine during the summer without Air condition.

I am not a fan of first come first served campgrounds but thankfully we arrived on a Thursday night. I felt bad for all the people that came through on Friday and Saturday. We had tried for Boulder Beach but it was full already. There is a no generator loop for people who would prefer that. Bring a bottle of hand soap to donate to the bathroom if you are able.

This is a very nice, clean campground. $20/night. Bathroom is flushable & clean. Staff are nice & friendly. The only downside is the campsite #8 had lots of big red ants crawling around. Was so worried my young children will get bitten. Thank goodness they didn’t. We stayed one night. Definitely recommend this place.

All of this changed , place now is crowded and industrial generators running all day long with "new" campers blasting music you can hear 1/2 mile away and adults and children running through your campsite at all times.
Camphost is not enforcing any rules and people seem to get more abnoxious and cany kind of consideration is gone!
Also, the waterpressure for filling your tank is close to zero, for a 75 gallon tank you will sit for over 2 hours .......
Will try 1 more time but last stay was horrible and we couldn't wait to leave 💔

Stayed in generator section with room for my 32’ class c and ATV trailer. Spaces on either side were occupied but dispersed sowe had plenty of privacy, great views and quiet.
Arrived on Friday with numerous sites to choose from. Dogs are welcome.
I have my lifetime senior park pass so entry was no charge. With water and dump availability plus site amenities this was a better value than free boondocking. 😊
Highly recommend!
