Clean and tidy campground on the reservoir. The road ends in a Y. If you go to the right there are two large spots with picnic tables and fire rings. But the road in there is pretty uneven. Check it out before proceeding if you have low clearance. The loop to the left is easily accessible with no real designated sites except for the handicapped. Pit toilet was clean. Water level is very low right now so there is a beach here. No trash cans. 4ish mile gravel road to get here but it’s in good shape right now.

Easy to find well marked campground not far off of 2. Two sections with a driveway loop in the grasslands with sporadic rock fire rings and a few picnic tables spread throughout. No defined sites, no reservations and no fee. Vault toilet was clean and the sites were clean and mowed. No water, no dumpsters. There are very few trees so no shade and no firewood. The lake is pretty, with quite a few fishing boats coming in and out of the boat launch. Beach area is rocky with lots of seagulls. There is a dock. When we were there it seemed to be mostly parked campers with very few people around. Very quiet peaceful night in a tent. I would stay again if in the area.

There's a vault toilet that's clean & stocked with toilet paper. This place is maintained by a local walleye fishing club and they make it available to the public free of charge.
Sites all over the place. Some are 'official.' Others are not. Nobody seems to mind. No electricity. No water. No dump site for RVs. No trash collection. Easy, mostly level access for even large trailers/buses.
There was one other camper here with me: a van camper. I never heard/saw them.
I'm not kidding when I say I spent the quietest night I ever spent camping here. It was so quiet even my tinnitus left me alone. No coyotes even!
If you're here make sure you visit the Bear Paw Battlefield nearby in Chinook MT and learn the story of the Nez Perce people's amazing flight from the US Army in 1877. It's free too, and also in a beautiful spot.
