Arrived early enough to get a prime spot under a cottonwood and by the river. By dark about 6 other vehicles showed up. The park staff were very helpful getting potable water

Quite. Plenty of parking cops rolled through quite a few times, so made it more comfy.

This spot is a little pull off about 100 yards south of the entrance to Capulin Volcano National Monument. It is a great spot for visiting the national monument.
