The campground is on the Blue Ridge Parkway and should be OK for a 38’ fifth wheel. You should check for tunnels depending where you are going. There are only a few sites in the loop on the lakeside that would accommodate it, but you might have to get permission to enter the wrong way to get there. I do not recommend pulling a 38 footer completely around any of the loops. It is tight in places.

I suggest checking the blue ridge parkway website. You might not clear the tunnels. I sure wouldn't want to meet you on a switchback or tunnel. Most big rigs park down mountain.

I would say not. The two camping areas for RVs are tight smaller roads with a couple of tight turns. You can call and talk to a ranger. 828-963-5911 The campground is off the Blue Ridge Parkway and that is a paved two lane and is mountainous with overhanging limbs in places. Curvy in areas but driving that road should be ok. Just go slow. Campground ranger would give you additional details that is a beautiful area.
