The best part of staying here was that we were only 5-10 min to Holden Beach and grocery and about 30 min to Wilmington and other beach towns. Our site was right at the entrance but was still quiet at night. It was packed sandy dirt and level. The best part of staying here was that we were only 5-10 min to Holden Beach and grocery and about 30 min to Wilmington and other beach towns. Our site was right at the entrance but was still quiet at night. It was packed sandy dirt and level. The problem with sites in the front of the park is that they are angled the wrong direction so a pain to figure out how to back into them. Sewer system needs some work too as it backed up during dumping. We were told that once their new addition opens up later this year they are going to be updating this older part. That is good news because it really has the potential to be a five star park. There is a small laundry and lots of DVDs in the office. WiFi worked pretty well and we were able to stream with it.

We love Holden Beach because you are right in between Wilmington and N Myrtle Beach. Plenty of things to do but you are also able to escape the crowds at Holden Beach. We love Holden Beach because you are right in between Wilmington and N Myrtle Beach. Plenty of things to do but you are also able to escape the crowds at Holden Beach. The sites are tight but not too tight. It looked like the bathhouse had been redone recently. Friendly staff. There is no pool but it has a nice playground and some trails. It is two miles from the ocean. The Verizon signal wasn't great but the Wi-Fi was awesome. Some sites are very shaded and others are more out in the open. We had full hook up and everything worked fine.
