We enjoyed an amazing weekend tent camping with friends at Hayfork Group Campsite in late September. It's only a 60 minute drive from downtown Boise, making it an easy weekend getaway. We appreciated the clean vault toilets and the abundance of picnic tables for our group to use. The tent pads were not very level, but we're not too picky. The kids loved hiking up the 'mountain' using a rope that was on the tree nearby.

You pay for the entire campground, all 7 sites, with the $108 per night fee. There is no cell signal, so be prepared to be disconnected. Yet, we did appreciate that there was a dumpster and a well to pump fresh water.

If you have a small RV you will do fine here, but I wouldn't suggest anything over 25 feet. It's easy to get to and on a beautiful stream. However, you are right off hwy 21 so there is some road noise.
