“Small City Park, quiet, quaint”
Reviewed Jun 28, 2015
Harrison, NE is the quintessential small town with a population of about 250. The town park has two spots for campers. 40ft spaces on gravel. 50/30/20 amp power and water. No sewer connections.
Verizon was 4 bars and 29/13mbps down and up speed.
There are clean restrooms in the park.
There is a donation box next to the power pedestal.
On the main street there is an interesting county museum with 5 buildings. One of the buildings is an original house in the original location owned built and owned by the Ward family. It was the second telephone exchange and also a creamery. The telephone switchboard looks like it could still handle local calls.
Further east is Fort Robinson State Park. Must see if you have kids since they have lots of activities including horse and carriage rides.
